Founded on August 21, 1991, it holds the distinction of being the first popular FM station and the second FM station overall to broadcast in Maracaibo and Zulia state. The station was established by Engineer Alejandro Higuera and a group of experienced professionals from other stations within the Organización Higuera Miranda network.
