KALI-FM (106.3 MHz) is a Vietnamese language radio station serving the community of Santa Ana, California. The station, owned by Multicultural Broadcasting, broadcasts musical and entertainment shows in Vietnamese. KALI-FM competes directly with KVNR 1480 AM, which also airs Vietnamese-language programming in the Los Angeles area.
The station's history dates back to 1960 when it first signed on as KFIL. Over the years, it went through several format and ownership changes before being acquired by Multicultural Broadcasting in 1995. At that time, it switched to a brokered Asian format and adopted the KALI-FM call sign in 1996.
Today, Saigon Radio covers a broad spectrum of subjects including news, entertainment, and information pertaining to issues affecting daily living for the Vietnamese community in Southern California. The station's programming includes talk shows, variety programs, and popular Vietnamese music.
