NHK Radio 2 (NHKラジオ第2放送) is a Japanese radio station operated by the public broadcaster NHK. It began broadcasting on April 6, 1931 as a predominantly educational station. NHK Radio 2 focuses on educational and cultural programming, serving as the radio counterpart to NHK Educational TV.

The station broadcasts primarily on AM frequencies, with 693 kHz being its frequency in Tokyo. Its programming includes language lessons, cultural shows, and news in multiple languages for non-Japanese speakers living in or visiting Japan.

NHK Radio 2 has faced potential closure, with plans discussed to shut down the station and reduce NHK's AM network to a single channel. A draft plan in 2021 aimed to close the station by fiscal year 2025, with the final decision pending approval from Japan's Diet.
