Beat 100.9 FM is a commercial radio station in Mexico City, Mexico, specializing in electronic dance music (EDM). History
The station's history dates back to 1957, but it didn't begin broadcasting until 1968. Over the years, it has undergone several format changes, including album rock in the 1980s. In 1996, the station adopted its current EDM format, briefly known as "Código 100.9" before becoming "Beat".
