Abu Dhabi FM (اذاعة أبوظبي) is one of the oldest radio stations in the Gulf region, founded in 1969 by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It is part of the Abu Dhabi Media Network and broadcasts on frequency 98.4 FM in Abu Dhabi.
The station is known for having the largest radio library of recordings and historical data in the Arab Gulf countries, including important historical events of the United Arab Emirates. It also holds the distinction of being the first Arab radio station specialized in broadcasting live sports events and matches.
Abu Dhabi FM's programming consists mainly of music and various segments throughout the day. One of its notable programs is "Studio One" (استوديو واحد), which airs daily from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM local time. The rest of the schedule is filled with a mix of songs and diverse segments, providing entertainment and information to listeners in the UAE capital and beyond.
