Radio M Utrecht is the regional public radio station for the Dutch province of Utrecht. Founded in 1989 as Radio Midden, it merged with Omroep Utrecht in 2002 to form RTV Utrecht, the province's public broadcaster. The station broadcasts news, background information, and music focused on the Utrecht region. It also provides regional weather forecasts, cultural and sports coverage, and serves as the official emergency broadcaster for the province. Radio M Utrecht can be heard on 93.1 MHz FM in most of Utrecht province, with a relay transmitter on 97.9 MHz in Rhenen.
