Rádio Transcontinental FM is a Brazilian radio station based in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo. Founded on October 10, 1981, it broadcasts on 104.7 MHz FM to listeners in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region. The station is owned by Cid Luiz de Souza Jardim and has its slogan "O Brasil em primeiro lugar" (Brazil First).
Initially targeting class A audiences with international and orchestral music, MPB, and occasional samba, Transcontinental FM underwent a major programming overhaul in 1991. The new format focused primarily on Brazilian music, especially samba and its subgenre pagode, and increased listener participation.
Today, Transcontinental FM ranks among the top five most-listened-to FM stations in Greater São Paulo, occupying the fifth place in overall audience ratings. Its programming includes popular shows like "Gosto não se discute" hosted by Kiko Russo, which has been on air since the 1991 reformulation.
The station's coverage extends beyond the São Paulo metropolitan area, reaching the Baixada Santista, North Coast, Paraíba Valley, and even some cities in southern Minas Gerais. While not having specific time slots for news programs, Transcontinental FM incorporates informative segments throughout the day, emphasizing public service announcements and variety news.
