MDR JUMP is a public radio station operated by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), broadcasting from Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. Launched on January 1, 2000, as the successor to MDR Life, it initially targeted listeners aged 14-29. In 2011, the station shifted its focus to the 20-49 age group, expanding its music selection and regional information coverage.
The station broadcasts a current-based Adult Contemporary format, featuring popular music and news for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. As of 2023, MDR JUMP has over 900,000 daily listeners, making it one of the most popular radio stations in eastern Germany.
