CFNJ 99.1 FM is a French-language community radio station serving the Lanaudière region of Quebec, Canada. Based in Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, the station has been on air since October 1985. CFNJ's mission is to support the economic, social and cultural development of Lanaudière by providing quality local and regional information while encouraging active community participation.
The station broadcasts on 99.1 FM from Saint-Damien and 88.9 FM from Saint-Zénon, covering over 40 municipalities in the region. CFNJ offers 24/7 programming featuring regional and national news, as well as shows produced entirely locally that reflect the cultural, social and economic choices of the Lanaudière area.
In 2018, CFNJ opened studios in Joliette to better serve the regional capital. The station's programming includes news, talk shows, and music with a focus on traditional and varied genres. CFNJ also runs community initiatives like its popular Super Radio Bingo program.
