Antena 2 is one of the three national radio channels produced by the Portuguese public broadcasting entity Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP). Launched in the 1940s, it specializes in broadcasting classical and world music, as well as other cultural programming.

The station features live performances, opera, jazz, and traditional Portuguese music. In 2011, Antena 2 launched an online radio station dedicated exclusively to opera called "Antena 2 Ópera".

Antena 2's programming includes classical music concerts, jazz sessions, world music showcases, poetry readings, literature discussions, and coverage of science, culture, cinema, theater, and visual arts. It aims to provide high-quality cultural content to Portuguese listeners.

As of December 2019, Antena 2 had a weekly reach share of 1.4% among Portuguese radio audiences. While a niche station, it plays an important role in Portugal's public broadcasting landscape by focusing on arts, culture and classical music.
