2SM is a commercial radio station broadcasting in Sydney, Australia on 1269 kHz AM. Launched in 1931, it is one of Sydney's oldest radio stations. 2SM dominated Sydney commercial radio from the 1970s to mid-1980s with its Top 40 format. Today, 2SM broadcasts a news, talk and classic hits format. It is the flagship station of the Super Radio Network, which syndicates 2SM's programming to over 60 AM and FM stations across regional New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
