Radio 1160 is a Peruvian radio station based in Lima. Originally launched in 1956 broadcasting on 1160 AM, it was one of the most popular youth-oriented stations in Lima during the 1970s and 1980s. The station went through various format changes over the decades, including periods as a news station. Since 2010, Radio 1160 has operated as an online-only station, focusing on rock and pop music from the 1980s and 1990s in both English and Spanish. Its slogan is "Al Rojo Vivo!" ("Red Hot!"). Though no longer on traditional airwaves, Radio 1160 continues to provide listeners with classic hits and maintains its place in Peru's radio landscape through internet streaming.
