YVKE Mundial Radio is a state-owned Venezuelan radio station based in Caracas. Founded in 1944 by radio pioneer Gonzalo Veloz Mancera, it was originally called Radio Cultura before changing its name to Radio Mundial in 1969 and adopting its current name YVKE Mundial in 1974. The station broadcasts on 550 AM and 94.5 FM in Caracas, as well as through several regional affiliates across Venezuela.
As part of Venezuela's state media system, YVKE Mundial focuses on news, information, and cultural programming aligned with the government's perspective. Its slogan is "Where You Inform and Get Informed." Notable programs include "Classics of Rock," "Cause and Effect," and "Golden Collection" which features nostalgic music. The station aims to provide news coverage and public service content "hand in hand with the people."
