RTL 102.5 is a private Italian radio station based in Cologno Monzese, near Milan. It was founded in 1975 as Radio Trasmissioni Lombarde and became a national network in 1990. RTL 102.5 was the first Italian radio station to adopt the contemporary hit radio format, focusing on playing popular hits.
The station broadcasts 24/7 and offers a mix of music, news, and entertainment programming. Some of its notable shows include "Non Stop News" in the morning, "The Flight" in the afternoon, and "Suite 102.5" in the evening.

In addition to its main channel, the RTL 102.5 group also operates Radio Zeta (focused on Italian music) and Radiofreccia (playing international rock music).
